A preliminary hearing took place in Moscow on July 28 in the case concerning the association operated by The Jewish Agency for Israel in Russia. It was determined that a trial will take place on August 19, 2022.

Contrary to some media reports, no instruction has been received from the Russian government to cease operations by the Jewish Agency-founded organization in the country.
