Ms. Carole Solomon chairs the North American Council, and was the first woman to chair the United Jewish Appeal (UJA), the National Campaign of the U.S. and the first woman to chair the Board of Governors of The Jewish Agency.

She is the past Vice Chairman of United Jewish Communities (UJC) and Chairman of the Campaign/ Financial Resource Development (FRD) Pillar. She is a former president of the UJA National Women’s Campaign; former member of the UJA Board of Trustees and Chair of its Budget and Finance Committee.

A member of The Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since 1994, Carole served as the Chair of the Board from 2003 through 2007.
